Polished on both sides, these fossilized mako shark teeth show off the smooth, blade like shape that made the mako such an efficient hunter.
Every number is a different piece, so look through the photos and choose the one you like best. The piece you select is the exact one we ship. Wire wrap your tooth into a pendant, add it to a fossil collection, or give it to an ocean lover or paleontology fan.
Teeth range from about 1.125 to 1.5 inches long, about 0.825 to 1.125 inches wide and 0.25 to 0.375 inch thick. See the size chart below for each number.
Fossil mako teeth usually come from the extinct broad toothed mako, which lived from the Eocene through the Pleistocene. They are recognized by a blade like shape, smooth cutting edges and a broad triangular crown.
