No two pieces of lodolite hold the same scene inside, which makes choosing one a personal thing.
This one has its front and sides polished to a smooth finish, which gives a clear window into the lodolite formation, and the close up photos show the inclusions in detail. It sits on a custom wooden base made for it, and the quartz lifts off so you can hold it up to a window. Low and wide rather than tall, it fits a desk, a display cabinet or a side table where it can be seen up close. For a collector or a meaningful milestone gift, it is a piece that rewards a long look.
About Lodolite
Lodolite is clear quartz holding mineral inclusions that can resemble landscapes, gardens or underwater scenes, which is why it is also sold as garden quartz, scenic quartz and shaman's stone. Green tones come from chlorite, while red, brown and yellow come from hematite and goethite. The principal source is Minas Gerais, Brazil, and as quartz it is hard and durable.
Stone Meaning: Lodolite is traditionally associated with reflection and good luck.
