Soft lilac with a subtle sparkle, lepidolite makes a calming little pyramid. Each one measures about 20 to 25 millimeters on a side, small enough to sit in a crystal grid, on a nightstand or on the edge of a laptop.

Buy one for yourself, or choose 5 or 10 for a grid layout, party favors or a set of matching gifts. The flecks of mica catch the light as you turn the pyramid, so each face looks a little different. Because lepidolite is soft, it is best kept as a display piece rather than carried loose in a bag with harder stones.

About Lepidolite

Lepidolite is a lithium-bearing mica, in fact the most abundant lithium mineral. Its lilac to pink color comes from trace manganese, and like other micas it is soft, around 2.5 to 3 on the Mohs scale, with a flaky, shimmering texture.

Stone Meaning: Lepidolite is traditionally associated with calm and transition, and the pyramid shape with focus.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does lepidolite contain lithium? Yes, lepidolite is a lithium-bearing mica, though the pyramid is a decorative stone and not a source of lithium for any use.
