Layers of glittering lilac and pink lepidolite mica, with muscovite, make up this raw slice, about 1.5 to 3.5 inches long and 1 to 1.75 inches wide.
Display it on a shelf or altar, lay it in a crystal grid, or break off small flakes for resin and jewelry projects.
Mica is soft and flaky, so handle the slice gently, keep it dry and expect small flakes to come loose. Thickness, size and color vary from piece to piece.
Lepidolite is a lithium-bearing mica and the most abundant lithium mineral. Its pink to purple color comes from trace manganese. Like muscovite, the most common mica, it splits into thin, flexible sheets.
Stone Meaning: Lepidolite is traditionally associated with calm and transition.
