Iron mineral inclusions give hematoid fire quartz its red color, and that warmth is what sets this tower apart.
These towers were shaped and polished by artisans in Brazil, and the red hematoid inclusions run through the clear quartz, so each one has its own pattern of fiery color. The tower shape stands on its own flat base and gives the inclusions room to show from every side, which suits a desk, a bookshelf, an altar or a windowsill. Tower 1 is a little taller and slimmer, while tower 2 is a little broader, so you can choose by shape as well as color. They make a bold gift for a birthday, a new job or anyone who loves red and earthy tones. You choose the exact piece from the photos.
Each numbered option is pictured on its own, so the piece you see is the piece you receive. Tower 1 is about 7.5 inches tall and tower 2 is about 7 inches tall; both are about 2 to 3 inches wide.
Hematoid quartz, also called fire quartz or harlequin quartz, is quartz with heavy concentrations of hematite or limonite. The iron minerals create reddish orange streaks along fractures inside the quartz. Some hematoid quartz on the market is heat treated to deepen its color.
Stone Meaning: Fire quartz is traditionally associated with strength and courage.
