These three septarian heart bowls each have their own pattern of yellow and brown veins, and septarian makes a striking catchall dish.
Bowl A is the widest and shallowest, good for rings or a few tumbled stones on a dresser. Bowl B is smaller across but the deepest of the three, so it holds more keys or loose change by the door. Bowl C is the most compact, a neat size for a nightstand or a gift box. The polish brings out the contrast between the yellow calcite, brown aragonite lines and grey stone, and no two hearts look alike. Choose your bowl from the photos; front and back views of each are included.
Septarian is a concretion: a nodule of mudstone that cracked as it formed, with the cracks later filled by calcite, often yellow. The name comes from the Latin septum, for partition.
Stone Meaning: Septarian is traditionally associated with grounding and communication.
