These rough blue kyanite specimens hold long, bladed crystals in matrix, with shimmering mica adding sparkle between the blades.
Display one on a shelf or altar, use it as a centerpiece for a blue themed collection, or give it to a collector who likes raw, natural textures. The blues range from pale sky to deep denim across the eight options.
Each numbered option is pictured on its own, so the piece you see is the piece you receive. Specimens are about 5 to 7.5 inches long and 2.875 to 4.25 inches tall, with sizes listed below.
Kyanite is an aluminum silicate that forms long, bladed crystals, most often blue. Its hardness varies by direction, about 4.5 to 5 along the blade and 6.5 to 7 across it, and it has perfect cleavage, so the blades can split.
Stone Meaning: Blue kyanite is traditionally associated with alignment and communication.
