Amethyst Cathedral with Cut Base - One of a Kind, Over 100 Lb, 17 In

Deep grape purple, chunky crystals and a cave you can look into: this Brazilian amethyst cathedral has all three.

It was hand picked, and its crystals are large rather than small and sugary, so the purple reads strongly from across a room. The cut base lets it stand upright on its own on a console, a sideboard or a sturdy floor plinth. It makes a centerpiece for an entryway, a living room or a reception desk, and it gives a home office a focal point that works on video calls too.

About Amethyst Cathedrals

An amethyst cathedral is a section of a large geode, cut so it stands upright with its crystal lined cavity facing out. In Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, amethyst forms in big geodes inside volcanic rock, and its purple comes from trace iron exposed to natural radiation. It is the modern birthstone for February.

Stone Meaning: Amethyst is traditionally associated with calm and balance.
