Glassy fluorite crystals in layered purple, green, blue and clear tones sit on natural matrix in these small specimens.
Set one on a desk or study table, add it to a mineral collection, or give it to a student or new collector. Their small size makes them easy to display almost anywhere, and a lamp or sunny window brings out the color layers.
Each numbered option is pictured on its own, so the piece you see is the piece you receive. Clusters are about 2 to 2.75 inches across, and each size is listed below.
Fluorite is calcium fluoride and forms in more colors than almost any other mineral, often in bands of purple, green and blue within one stone. It naturally grows in cubes, defines hardness 4 on the Mohs scale, and has perfect cleavage, so edges can chip.
Stone Meaning: Fluorite is traditionally associated with focus and clear thinking.
