Ocean jasper comes from a single stretch of coastline in Madagascar, reached by boat and mined only at low tide. These stars show its signature orbs and swirls in greens and reds.
Tuck one into a holiday stocking, a graduation card or a care package, or line several up on a windowsill. A star is a symbol of hope and guidance, which makes it a lovely encouragement gift for a friend starting something new.
Each numbered option is pictured on its own, so the piece you see is the piece you receive. Stars are about 2.5 to 2.75 inches across and 0.375 to 0.75 inches thick. Patterns vary widely, so compare the photos to pick the colors you like best.
Ocean jasper is a silicified rhyolite known for round orbs, or eyes, in many colors. It is mined from a single coastal location on the Ambolobozo Peninsula of northern Madagascar, reached by boat and worked at low tide. Like other jasper, it takes a fine polish.
Stone Meaning: Ocean jasper is traditionally associated with joy and calm.
