Large faceted beads of dyed quartzite, sold as jade quartzite, catch the light with every movement. Each 15 inch strand holds about 13 to 16 beads, measuring about 1 by 0.75 inches to 1.125 by 0.825 inches.

Choose dark green, apple green, orange, light blue or burgundy. Use them for statement necklaces, pendants, keychains and accent beads, or mix colors for a bold, playful look.

These beads are dyed quartzite, not jadeite or nephrite. Dyed colors can fade with heat, sunlight and time, so store the strand away from light and keep it out of water and harsh cleaners. Each bead varies slightly in size and shade.
