Imagine a pink amethyst geode big enough to anchor an entire room, set on a rotating stand so guests can see it from every side.
This one of a kind specimen has yellow formations, which our team calls yellow amethyst, and a raised center that protrudes from the crystal surface, so it reads as a sculpture as much as a geode. It comes mounted on a rotating stand, which lifts it into view and lets you spin it to show off the center, the pink crystal and the yellow areas without lifting the stone. Pink amethyst only reached the market around 2017, mostly from Patagonia, Argentina, and a piece of this size is a true showpiece for a living room, a lobby, an office, a spa or a gallery. It is heavy, at about 130 pounds, so plan its spot before it arrives; once placed, the stand does the work. This is the exact geode and stand shown.
The geode is about 17 by 16 inches and about 16.5 inches tall, and it weighs about 130 pounds, roughly 59 kilograms.
Pink amethyst is quartz whose blush color is attributed to microscopic hematite inclusions. It is a recent arrival in the crystal world, mined mainly in Patagonia, Argentina.
Stone Meaning: Pink amethyst is traditionally associated with compassion and calm.
