Want fluorite, brassy pyrite and quartz in a single specimen? You have four to choose from.
Option 1 is the largest, a substantial cluster for the center of a shelf. Option 2 is a mid sized piece with more depth than width, giving it a chunkier profile. Option 3 is compact and nearly square, while option 4 is the smallest and flattest, easy to tuck into a cabinet or a gift box. All four combine the same three minerals, but the balance of each changes from piece to piece, so look over the photos and pick the one with the mix you like best. It is a good choice for a collector who wants a combination specimen rather than a single mineral.
Fluorite is calcium fluoride, the mineral that defines hardness 4 on the Mohs scale. Pyrite is iron sulfide, nicknamed fool's gold for its brassy color and metallic luster. Quartz is silicon dioxide, hardness 7, with a glassy luster.
Stone Meaning: Fluorite is traditionally associated with focus and clarity.
