Want the presence of an amethyst portal in a size that still fits on a desk or bookshelf?
At about 16 inches tall, this portal cathedral is a more compact size, yet it is still a substantial geode section about 6 inches deep overall. The stand keeps it upright, so it works on a home office desk, a reception counter, a console table or a wide shelf at eye level. Its proportions make it easier to place than a floor sized cathedral, and it is a strong choice if you want real amethyst crystal surfaces without rearranging furniture. Amethyst is the birthstone for February, so it is a natural gift for a February birthday, a retirement or a new home. This is the exact portal shown.
The portal is about 16 by 11 by 6 inches. Look at the photo on white to judge the crystal color and shape.
About Amethyst Cathedrals
An amethyst cathedral is a tall section of a geode, cut so it stands upright with its crystal lined hollow facing out. Amethyst is purple quartz colored by trace iron and natural radiation, and large amethyst geodes are mined mainly in Brazil and Uruguay.
Stone Meaning: Amethyst is traditionally associated with calm and balance.
