Have you come across trolleite yet?
The blend of minerals in trolleite gives each of these three polished hearts its own pattern. Heart 1 is the thinnest of the three, heart 2 has a little more depth with a similar outline, and heart 3 is the smallest across but just as thick, so it feels chunky in the hand. All three are a comfortable palm size for keeping on a desk, an altar or a bedside table, and they make a good gift for a crystal collector looking for something off the usual list. Look through the photos and choose the heart whose color and shape you like best.
Trolleite is an aluminum phosphate mineral, light blue to light green, at 5.5 to 6 on the Mohs scale. It was described in 1868 from the Vastana mine in Sweden and named after the Swedish chemist Hans Gabriel Trolle Wachtmeister. It occurs with other phosphates such as lazulite, an azure blue magnesium iron aluminum phosphate. Despite the similar spelling, it has nothing to do with troilite, an iron sulfide known from meteorites.
Stone Meaning: Trolleite is traditionally associated with emotional balance and inner peace.
