These hearts are real aragonite from the Tazota mine in Morocco, and each one shows the stone's natural crystal texture and earthy tones.
Set one on a coffee table, desk or bookshelf and it quietly draws people in for a closer look. Aragonite is also a nice teaching piece for anyone curious about how shells, coral and caves are made, since it is the same mineral. A heart makes the gift easy to give: a birthday, an anniversary, a thank you or a get well soon. You pick the exact heart from the photos.
Each numbered option is pictured on its own, so the piece you see is the piece you receive. Each heart is about 4 by 3.5 inches; heart 1 weighs about 165 grams, heart 2 about 170 grams, heart 3 about 150 grams and heart 4 about 160 grams.
Aragonite is a crystal form of calcium carbonate, chemically the same as calcite but with a different structure. It forms in mollusk shells, coral skeletons and cave formations, and it is soft and brittle, at about 3.5 to 4 on the Mohs scale.
Stone Meaning: Aragonite is traditionally associated with grounding and patience.
