About Angel Aura Agate
Agate is a banded, translucent form of microcrystalline quartz. Angel aura finishes are made by vapor deposition: a metal film only a micron or two thick is bonded to the stone in a vacuum chamber, and that thin film creates the iridescent color. Because it is a surface coating, it lasts longest when protected from abrasion.
