Few crystal hearts reach the size of this amethyst druzy heart.
Most amethyst hearts sit in the palm. This one needs a table of its own. The front is a wide field of purple druzy that throws sparkle from every angle, while the shaped edges and back show off the polish work that went into it. Set it flat on a coffee table, a console or a meditation shelf and it reads from across the room. It suits a February birthday, an anniversary, a wedding, or a collector who already has the small hearts and wants the big one. Expect real weight: it is heavy enough to stay exactly where you place it.
About Druzy Amethyst
Druzy is a natural coating of fine crystals on the wall of a cavity or geode, and each tiny face catches light on its own. Amethyst is purple quartz colored by trace iron and natural radiation. Brazil, Uruguay, Bolivia and Zambia are among the largest producers, and amethyst is the modern birthstone for February.
Stone Meaning: Amethyst is traditionally associated with calm and balance.
