About Pyrite

Pyrite is iron sulfide, nicknamed fool's gold for its brassy color and metallic luster. Its name comes from the Greek word for fire, because it can throw sparks when struck, and it often grows as natural cubes.

Stone Meaning: Pyrite is traditionally associated with luck and abundance.
