Palo santo, Spanish for sacred wood, is traditionally burned as incense. About Palo Santo

Palo santo is the wood of Bursera graveolens, a tree native to Mexico, Central America, northwestern South America and the Galapagos. In Peru, harvesting is regulated so that only naturally fallen or dead trees may be collected.
