A brass singing bowl decorated with the phases of the moon, presented with a plush satin cushion and wooden striker in a blue gift box. The bowl measures about 4.125 inches across and 2.125 inches tall, the cushion about 4 by 4 inches, and the striker about 6 inches long.

Tap the rim or circle it slowly with the striker to create a warm, lingering tone for meditation, yoga, sound baths or a calm start to the day. Crafted by artisans in India, it makes a beautiful gift for yoga teachers, moon lovers and anyone setting up a meditation space.

About Singing Bowls

A singing bowl is an inverted bell that rests with its rim facing up. Striking it with a mallet gives a bell tone, while rubbing the mallet around the rim produces a sustained singing sound. Modern singing bowls reached the West from the 1970s, mainly from Nepal and northern India.
