Selenite Point - Small Raw Selenite Point

A petite point of silky white selenite with a soft glow that seems to come from within. It stands about 29 to 32 millimeters tall and 20 to 21 millimeters wide, a sweet size for grids, altars and windowsills.

About Selenite

Selenite is a crystalline variety of gypsum, a hydrous calcium sulfate. With a Mohs hardness of only 2, it scratches easily and should be kept dry. Much of the silky white material sold as selenite is satin spar, the fibrous variety of gypsum.
