RK37B3-05
A piece of rough, natural Apache turquoise, about 20 to 42 millimeters long and 9 to 24 millimeters wide, in natural blue to green tones.
Wire wrap it into a pendant, add it to a mineral collection, or use it as a raw accent in jewelry and crafts.
Turquoise is fairly soft and porous, so keep it away from oils, perfume, hot water and harsh cleaners. Each stone varies in size, shape and color.
Turquoise is a copper aluminum phosphate, and its blue comes from copper. Much turquoise on the market is waxed, stabilized or dyed, and dyed howlite and magnesite are common imitations.
Stone Meaning: Turquoise is traditionally associated with protection and friendship.
