Bright, brassy pyrite cut into a clean rectangle makes a bold metallic cabochon for rings, pendants and cufflinks.
Set it in a bezel, use it as a gold toned accent in a crystal grid, or add it to a collection of small stones. Its metallic shine pairs well with both gold and silver.
Each cabochon is about 10 to 15 millimeters by 13 to 30 millimeters, and you may receive a square or a rectangle. Photos are enlarged to show detail, so check the quarter photo for size.
Pyrite is iron sulfide, nicknamed fool's gold for its brassy color and metallic luster. Its name comes from the Greek word for fire.
Stone Meaning: Pyrite is traditionally associated with luck and abundance.
