Each set holds five petite white calcite druzy beads, all covered in tiny sparkling crystals.
They are drilled side to side across the top, so they hang straight from a jump ring or a head pin loop and make quick earrings, charms or a cluster of small drops on a necklace. White druzy goes with silver and gold findings alike and adds sparkle without color, which makes them easy to mix into wedding or winter themed designs. Natural druzy grows differently on every piece, so shapes and crystal texture vary across the five.
Druzy is a coating of fine crystals that forms on a rock surface, vein or geode. Calcite, calcium carbonate, is usually white or colorless, has a glassy luster, and is soft, 3 on the Mohs scale. Calcite fizzes in acid, one of the easiest ways geologists tell it apart from quartz druzy.
Stone Meaning: Calcite is traditionally associated with clarity and renewal.
