Royal blue sodalite, often veined with white, is cut and polished into a small faceted tower with a pointed apex. It makes a striking accent on a desk, altar or bookshelf.
Each tower is cut and polished with flat faceted sides that rise to a point, so it stands upright on a desk, altar or crystal grid. Use several to frame a crystal grid, give them as party favors, or wire wrap one into a pendant. Packs of 5 and 10 lower the price per tower. Drilled versions and many other stones are also available in the shop.
Sodalite is a little softer than quartz, so store the towers so their points do not knock together. Many specimens glow orange under UV light, a fun extra for collectors. Each tower is natural stone, so veining and exact size vary; the quarter photo shows the scale.
Sodalite is a royal blue mineral, commonly veined with white, with a Mohs hardness of 5.5 to 6. Many specimens fluoresce orange under UV light.
Stone Meaning: Sodalite is traditionally associated with communication and calm thinking.
