Compact and colorful, these fluorite bookend pairs are polished on two faces and left raw on the back, a good fit for shorter shelves.
Hold books upright on a shelf or desk, frame a row of records or journals, or display them on their own as natural sculpture. Each pair was carved and polished by hand in Brazil and is matched as a set.
Each numbered option is pictured on its own, so the piece you see is the piece you receive. Bookends range from about 5.25 to 6.5 inches, and each size is listed below. They are sold as is, with small chips on some edges or corners.
Fluorite is calcium fluoride and forms in more colors than almost any other mineral, often in bands within a single stone. It defines hardness 4 on the Mohs scale and has perfect cleavage, so it can chip along edges.
Stone Meaning: Fluorite is traditionally associated with focus and clear thinking.
