Size 000 is our smallest agate slice, and it is the one jewelry makers reach for when they want earrings. These green agate slices measure about 36 to 57 millimeters long and 18 to 28 millimeters wide, slim and light enough to hang from ear wires.

They also work as small pendants, wind chime accents or boho decorations. Choose a single slice to try, or buy in bulk for batches of jewelry, craft kits or resale. About Agate Slices

Agate is a translucent variety of microcrystalline quartz, rated 7 on the Mohs scale. Its rings form as silica is deposited layer by layer inside a rock cavity, and slicing across the stone reveals those bands, often around a sparkling crystal center. Agate is slightly porous, so most vividly colored agate slices in the trade are dyed, while natural slices show grays, tans and creams.
