Amethyst Crystal Cathedral with Calcite - One of a Kind, Over 39 Pounds

This geode cathedral has a deep hollow lined with soft purple amethyst points, with natural calcite adding pale contrast among the crystals.

At about 8 inches deep overall, it has real presence, and the points catch light from the front and sides as you walk past. It is a commanding piece for an entry table, a living room console, a reception area or a meditation room, and it sits on a cut base. The calcite grew after the amethyst in the same pocket, which gives this geode more character than a plain purple one. The photos show the front, back and sides, so you can see the whole piece before it arrives. It makes a lasting gift for a new home, a new business or a milestone. This is the exact cathedral shown.

The cathedral is about 13.25 by 10.125 by 8 inches and weighs over 39 pounds.

About Amethyst Cathedrals

An amethyst cathedral is a tall section of a geode, cut so it stands upright with its crystal lined hollow facing out. Amethyst is purple quartz colored by trace iron and natural radiation, and large amethyst geodes are mined mainly in Brazil and Uruguay.

Stone Meaning: Amethyst is traditionally associated with calm and balance.
