Polished Amethyst Points - 1/2 lb Bag

Highly polished amethyst points fill this half pound bag, about 20 to 40 pieces depending on size. Each point measures from about 1 inch up to 2.25 inches.

Use them in crystal grids, wire wrap them into pendants, fill a bowl, or share them as party favors and gifts. Some are long and thin and others short and wide, so you get a nice variety.

Amethyst is hard and durable; keep it out of strong direct sunlight to protect the color. Rinse them with water and dry them with a soft cloth. The photos show three half pound piles for comparison.

About Amethyst

Amethyst is the purple variety of quartz, colored by trace iron exposed to natural irradiation. It has a Mohs hardness of 7 and is the modern birthstone for February. Its color can fade with long exposure to strong sunlight.
