Large Amethyst Polished Crystal Slab - One of a Kind, 14.5 In

Got a wall shelf, a mantel or a plate stand waiting for a large amethyst piece?

This polished slab is a cross section of an amethyst geode, and at more than a foot across it shows a broad field of purple crystal at once. The edges are left raw, straight out of the earth, so the outer rock frames the crystal and no two slabs have the same outline. Because it is only about an inch and a half thick, it displays well upright on a sturdy easel or plate stand, or flat on a coffee table where you can look down into it. The photo next to a ruler gives a clear sense of the size. February birthdays, a new home or a meditation space are all good reasons to choose it. This exact slab is the one in the photos.

Dimensions are about 14.5 by 13 by 1.5 inches.

About Amethyst Portals and Slabs

An amethyst portal or slab is a cross section cut from an amethyst geode, a hollow rock whose cavity was slowly lined with crystal by mineral rich groundwater. Amethyst is purple quartz colored by trace iron and natural radiation, and Brazil and Uruguay are major sources of geode amethyst.

Stone Meaning: Amethyst is traditionally associated with calm and balance.
