Amethyst Semi Polished Crystal Air Plant Holder - One of a Kind, 5 In

Air plants need somewhere to sit, and an amethyst crystal holder gives them a purple crystal home.

This semi polished amethyst piece is shaped to cradle an air plant or a small bundle of dried flowers, adding a bit of nature to a desk, a bathroom shelf or a windowsill. To answer the obvious question up front: it cannot hold water, so it is not for potted plants or fresh cut stems. Air plants are watered away from their holder anyway, so the two pair well. The semi polished finish leaves some of the stone's natural texture showing, which contrasts nicely with a polished face. It suits a plant lover, a February birthday or a new apartment. The holder in the photos is the one you will receive.

The holder is about 5 by 4.5 by 3 inches. Its size against a ruler is shown in one photo.

About Amethyst

Amethyst is the purple variety of quartz. Its color comes from trace iron exposed to natural radiation, and it is the modern birthstone for February. Brazil, Uruguay, Bolivia and Zambia are among the largest producers.

Stone Meaning: Amethyst is traditionally associated with calm and balance.
