Amazonite Polished Point Crystal Generator Tower - One of a Kind, 16.375 In

Amazonite is the green to blue green variety of microcline feldspar, and this tall polished generator shows it off from base to tip.

A generator is a polished point with a cut base so it stands upright, and at about 16.375 inches tall this one has the height to hold an entry table, a reception desk or a wide shelf by itself. Amazonite is often streaked with white quartz or feldspar, so expect natural variation from face to face. It is found in Brazil, as well as Colorado, Madagascar, Norway and Russia, and it has long been nicknamed Amazon jade, though it is a feldspar rather than jade. The photo next to a ruler, with a hand for scale, shows just how tall it is. For a new office or a milestone birthday, a tower this size makes an impression. You get this exact amazonite generator.

It is about 16.375 inches tall with a base of about 3 by 2.825 inches.

About Amazonite

Amazonite is microcline feldspar in green to blue green, a color thought to come from trace lead, and it rates about 6 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale. It is mined in Brazil, Colorado, Madagascar, Norway and Russia, and it has long been nicknamed Amazon jade, though it is not jade. Two directions of perfect cleavage mean a hard knock can split it.

Stone Meaning: Amazonite is traditionally associated with courage and truth.
