About Lepidolite
Lepidolite is a lithium bearing mica, the most abundant lithium mineral on Earth. Its lilac to pink purple color comes from trace manganese. Like other micas it is soft, about 2.5 to 3 on the Mohs scale, and its fine mica flakes give polished lepidolite a satiny shimmer.
