These two agate points were each cut so that a sparkling druzy geode pocket sits right in the polished face.
Polished agate frames the druzy, so you get smooth bands and a pocket of tiny crystals in the same piece. Both are about 4.5 inches tall and 3 inches wide, so they are well sized for a desk, a windowsill or a crystal shelf; point 2 is a little thicker at 2.5 inches. They make a thoughtful gift for someone starting a crystal collection, a new office or a birthday. The photos show each point labeled, plus a hand photo for scale. You choose the exact piece from the photos.
Each numbered option is pictured on its own, so the piece you see is the piece you receive. Point 1 is about 4.5 by 3 by 2.25 inches; point 2 is about 4.5 by 3 by 2.5 inches.
About Druzy Agate
Agate is a translucent, banded form of microcrystalline quartz. Its bands form as silica is deposited layer by layer inside a rock cavity, and when the cavity is not filled completely the last layer can grow as druzy, a coating of tiny sparkling crystals. Agate is hard quartz, so it takes a high polish and wears well.
Stone Meaning: Agate is traditionally associated with balance and stability.
