Polished Fluorite Sphere - One of a Kind, Hand Polished, 3.5 Inch

Fluorite is famous for its range of colors, and this sphere was hand polished by a member of our team to show off its natural color variation.

It looks best in natural light, so enjoy it in daylight, away from direct sun, where the colors can glow. A fluorite sphere is a thoughtful gift for a writer, a reader or anyone who loves colorful crystals, and a striking addition to a sphere collection. This is the exact sphere shown.

The sphere is about 3.5 inches across. Stand not included. Fluorite often shows natural internal lines, which are part of its character. Because it was polished by hand by our team, we know this sphere well, and the photos show it honestly from each side.

About Fluorite

Fluorite is calcium fluoride, a mineral known for an especially wide range of colors, including purple, green, yellow and blue, often banded together. It defines hardness 4 on the Mohs scale and has perfect cleavage, so it needs gentle handling.

Stone Meaning: Fluorite is traditionally associated with focus and clarity.

Add a Sphere Stand

A stand keeps a sphere from rolling and lifts it into view, so it looks finished on a shelf, desk or altar. Pick one from our crystal sphere stands and holders, with carved wood, brass, metal and clear acrylic styles. Check the stand size against the sphere diameter for a secure fit.
