Amethyst Geode Sphere - One of a Kind Polished Crystal Ball, 3.5 Inch

Amethyst forms inside geodes, lining hollow rocks with purple crystal, and this sphere was polished from that geode amethyst.

Its purple color and natural crystal structure show from every side, so it looks good from wherever you sit. At about 3.5 inches, it is easy to place on a desk, a nightstand, a bookshelf or an altar, and it pairs beautifully with brass and dark wood stands. It is a meaningful gift for a February birthday, a housewarming or a friend who loves purple. This is the exact sphere shown.

The sphere is about 3.5 by 3.5 by 3.5 inches. Look at the ruler photo for scale, and turn it in the light to see how the crystal changes.

About Amethyst

Amethyst is the purple variety of quartz. Its color comes from trace iron exposed to natural radiation, and it is the modern birthstone for February. Brazil, Uruguay, Bolivia and Zambia are among the largest producers.

Stone Meaning: Amethyst is traditionally associated with calm and balance.

Add a Sphere Stand

A stand keeps a sphere from rolling and lifts it into view, so it looks finished on a shelf, desk or altar. Pick one from our crystal sphere stands and holders, with carved wood, brass, metal and clear acrylic styles. Check the stand size against the sphere diameter for a secure fit.
