Amethyst Crystal Portal Cathedral on Stand - One of a Kind, 16 x 9.5 Inch

Big enough to anchor a room, this amethyst portal comes with its own stand.

A portal is a section of an amethyst geode with an opening you can look through or into, and the stand holds it upright so the purple crystal lining faces the room. At about 16 inches tall, it suits an entryway console, a reception desk, a home office or a living room shelf where it can be seen from across the space. The white background photo shows the full outline, and the room photo gives a sense of how it reads in a styled setting. Amethyst is the February birthstone, and a piece this size makes a memorable gift for a milestone, a new business or a new home. This is the exact amethyst portal and stand shown.

The portal is about 16 by 9.5 by 6 inches.

About Amethyst Portals

An amethyst portal or cathedral is a large section of a geode, a hollow rock that slowly filled with crystal as mineral rich groundwater seeped through it. Amethyst is purple quartz colored by trace iron and natural radiation, and Brazil and Uruguay are among the largest producers of amethyst geodes.

Stone Meaning: Amethyst is traditionally associated with calm and balance.
