Mexican Light Onyx Mirror and Wall Lamp - One of a Kind, 39.75 In Tall

Picture a wall of pale, banded stone that turns warm and luminous when you flip the switch.

This mirror and wall lamp is made from Mexican light onyx, banded calcite with soft layered bands of light colored minerals. It is about 39.75 inches tall and 25.75 inches wide, a size that fits above a vanity, over a console, in an entry or in a powder room. The photos show the natural onyx borders up close and the mirror switched off so you can see the stone itself, plus a side view of its 4 inch depth. It comes with a standard Type A plug for the US and is not recommended for international use with adapters. Shipping is by pallet within the USA only, and extra time is needed to pack it. For a designer or homeowner who wants natural stone light, this is a strong single feature. This is the exact lamp shown.

Measurements are about 3 feet 3.75 inches tall, 2 feet 1.75 inches wide and 4 inches thick.

About Mexican Onyx

Mexican onyx is banded calcite, sometimes called onyx marble, rather than true onyx, which is banded chalcedony. Its soft layered bands come from mineral deposits building up over time. Calcite is soft and reacts with acids, so keep it away from acidic cleaners and harder objects.

Stone Meaning: Light onyx is traditionally associated with purity and dreams.
