Large Elestial Amethyst Crystal Point - One of a Kind, 10 Inch

Some amethyst points are smooth and simple, while elestial amethyst grows in stacked, terraced layers that reward a close look.

This is a large point, about 10 inches long and 6 inches wide, with the ridged, built up faces that come from skeletal growth, when the crystal edges grow faster than the faces in between. The purple runs through those layers, so light picks out different depths as you walk past it. It is sized to be a centerpiece on a dining table or a console, or a focal point in a cozy reading corner. For a housewarming or a milestone birthday, it is a gift sized to become part of the room. You get this exact elestial amethyst point.

Plan on about 10 by 6 by 4.5 inches. A ruler photo shows the size.

About Elestial Amethyst

Elestial is a market name for skeletal quartz, which forms when crystal edges grow faster than the faces, leaving recessed, layered, ribbed faces. In amethyst, that layering is colored purple by trace iron exposed to natural radiation. Brazil, Uruguay, Bolivia and Zambia are among the largest amethyst producers.

Stone Meaning: Amethyst is traditionally associated with calm and balance.
