Amethyst and Jasper Wall Decor - One of a Kind, 15.5 x 20 In, 11 Kg

Picture purple amethyst clusters and polished jasper on your wall in place of a print or a mirror.

This one of a kind wall piece was hand cut and polished in Brazil and hand picked for its looks. The close up photo shows the amethyst clusters in detail, and the side view shows how slim the profile is, at about 1.75 inches deep, so it sits close to the wall instead of jutting into the room. Roughly 20 inches wide, it fills the space above a console, a bed or a reception desk without overwhelming it. It weighs about 11 kilograms, which is worth knowing before you choose a spot. As a gift it suits a housewarming, an office opening or a February birthday, since amethyst is the February birthstone. This is the exact wall piece shown.

It measures about 15.5 inches tall, 20 inches wide and 1.75 inches thick, and weighs about 11 kilograms. The ruler photo shows it at scale.

About Amethyst and Jasper

Amethyst is the purple variety of quartz, colored by trace iron exposed to natural radiation, and Brazil is among its largest producers. Jasper is an opaque, fine grained form of silica whose red and brown tones come from iron. Both take a good polish.

Stone Meaning: Amethyst is traditionally associated with calm and balance.
