Trolleite is a blue aluminum phosphate stone, and these three polished towers come from finds in Brazil.

Trolleite here is a mixed stone: blue trolleite runs through quartz with lazulite and scorzalite, so every tower shows its own mix of blues. Tower #2 is the broadest of the three and has the most stone to look at; #1 is a middle ground; #3 is the slimmest and tallest, a good fit for a narrow shelf or a crystal grid. The photos with a hand show how each one sizes up, so you can choose the shape you like and pick its number from the menu. Trolleite has only reached the crystal market in recent years, which makes a polished point a good conversation starter for anyone who already owns the usual quartz and amethyst.

About Trolleite

Trolleite is an aluminum phosphate. Its type locality is the Vastana mine in Skane, Sweden, where it was described in 1868 and named after the Swedish chemist Hans Gabriel Trolle-Wachtmeister. It is usually light blue to light green and occurs with other phosphates such as lazulite. Trolleite is sometimes misspelled troilite, but troilite is an unrelated iron sulfide best known from meteorites.

Stone Meaning: Trolleite is traditionally associated with emotional balance and the heart.
