Silver Sheen Obsidian Crystal Obelisk - One of a Kind, 7.5 Inch

Tilt a silver sheen obsidian obelisk under a lamp and a soft silvery shimmer slides across the black glass.

This large obelisk was carved and polished by artisans in Mexico, and the high polish lets the sheen appear and disappear as you move around it, which makes it far more interesting in person than a plain black tower. Its broad base, over 3 inches wide, keeps it steady on a desk, a bookshelf, a mantel or an entry table, and the dark color suits modern, industrial and moody decor. It makes a striking gift for someone who loves black stones, a new office or a collector of crystal towers. This is the exact obelisk shown.

The obelisk is about 7.5 by 3.25 by 2.75 inches. Look at the ruler photo for scale.

About Silver Sheen Obsidian

Obsidian is natural volcanic glass that forms when lava cools too quickly for crystals to grow. Silver sheen obsidian gets its shimmer from light reflecting off tiny inclusions in the glass. It takes a mirror polish, and because it is glass it can chip if knocked.

Stone Meaning: Black obsidian is traditionally associated with grounding and protection.
