Turn it over and the back reveals a heart shaped opening into the stone, a detail most people will not expect. It has a cut base, so it can stand and show off its druzy face on a shelf or a desk. Treat it as a bold, colorful display piece rather than a natural specimen; the color is a coating over natural agate.

One more thing you should know before buying: the back shows some cracking, pictured in the photo of the reverse side. It does not show from the front.
