Polished Agate Grapes with Silver Leaf and Coiled Stem - 5.5 In

Small, polished and a little playful, this agate grape cluster brings color to a kitchen shelf or bar cart.

The grapes are multicolored polished agate, and the silver leaf can be moved and shaped, so you can bend it to sit just right against a bowl or a bottle. A tightly coiled silver wire forms the stem, a nice detail when you see it up close. It is compact enough for a windowsill or a gift basket with a bottle of wine. For a host, a wine club friend or anyone with a Tuscan style kitchen, it is a small gift with a lot of detail.

About Agate

Agate is a banded, translucent form of microcrystalline quartz, and it has been shaped into beads, cabochons and carvings for thousands of years. Because it is porous, many brightly colored agates in the trade are dyed.

Stone Meaning: Agate is traditionally associated with steadiness and harmony.
