Amethyst Figure 8 Slice on Metal Stand - One of a Kind, 31.5 In #11

Amethyst cut into a figure eight carries an extra layer of meaning for many people, since the shape doubles as the infinity sign.

That makes it a natural fit for renewed vows, a partnership celebrated or a home bought together. Beyond the symbolism, it is simply a striking amount of purple crystal, more than two and a half feet of it, held upright on a metal stand that was made for this slice. The stand turns, so the crystal can face the room from wherever you place it: an entry console, a bedroom corner, the end of a long sofa. The edges are cut to the figure eight outline, and the face shows purple amethyst crystal across both loops.

About Amethyst Slices

Many of the hollow agates of southwestern Brazil and Uruguay hold a crop of amethyst crystals inside, and large slices are cut from geodes like these. Heating the same purple quartz turns it yellow gold as citrine or pale green as prasiolite.

Stone Meaning: Amethyst is traditionally associated with calm and balance.
