Cut and polished by hand in Brazil, this agate heart is broad and deep enough to fill a palm, and its sparkling druzy center is the first thing anyone notices.
It is a chunky heart with real depth through the middle, so it can lie flat on a tray, lean against a frame or rest on an altar cloth without looking lost. The polished outer surface feels smooth and cool, while the crystal pocket gives it texture and catches lamplight as you move. The hand photos show the scale better than any number can. Give it for an anniversary, a housewarming or a Valentine's Day that calls for something more lasting than flowers.
About Druzy Agate
Agate is banded microcrystalline quartz that forms inside gas bubbles in cooling volcanic rock, as hot, silica rich water fills the cavity and slowly crystallizes. When that silica runs thin, the center stays hollow and becomes lined with tiny quartz crystals pointing inward, which is the druzy pocket a heart like this is cut to show. Brazil's Rio Grande do Sul is one of the major sources of large agate.
Stone Meaning: Agate is traditionally associated with balance and stability.
