Fossilized Sand Dollars - As Is, You Get All 3, 1 In

Fossil sand dollars bring a bit of the ancient seafloor to a shelf, and this set gives you three.

Each one has a flat base, so it sits steadily on a shelf, a windowsill or inside a shadow box. They are sold as is because each shows minimal chips, but all three are intact and the marks are not very noticeable at a glance; the photos show every piece front and back. That makes them a sensible choice for crafting projects, jewelry settings or a beach themed display where a little character is welcome. A small, easy gift for someone who loves the ocean or fossils.

About Sand Dollars

Sand dollars are flat, burrowing sea urchins. Their skeleton, called a test, is built from calcium carbonate plates in a fivefold pattern, and the petal design on top is formed by rows of pores the animal used for gas exchange.
