Amethyst Moon Geode on Metal Stand - One of a Kind, 6.5 In

A crescent moon of purple amethyst druzy, set in a silver toned metal stand, makes a striking piece for a nightstand or altar.

The metal frame wraps around the moon and holds it upright, so it displays as soon as it comes out of the box. The druzy face catches lamplight, and the photos show the back and side as well as the front. Moon and celestial themes make it a natural gift for a new moon gathering or anyone with a February birthday. It is light enough to move between rooms easily.

About Amethyst Geodes

Amethyst is purple quartz colored by trace iron and natural radiation. Large amethyst geodes form in volcanic rocks, where gas cavities slowly fill with crystal, and Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil and neighboring Artigas, Uruguay are among the largest producers. Pieces of geode are cut into shapes such as moons and hearts that keep the druzy face.

Stone Meaning: Amethyst is traditionally associated with calm and balance.
