Labradorite flashes blue and gold when it catches the light, and with a matched pair of polished beads you can carry that flash into a set of earrings.

Hang them on ear wires for simple drop earrings, use them as accent beads in a necklace, or keep them for a crystal grid. Matched pairs save the hassle of sorting through loose beads to find two that go together. They make a nice little gift for a jewelry maker, and handmade earrings from these make a thoughtful gift in turn.

Each bead is about 16 by 11 millimeters on average and is drilled through the side near the top. Flash and color vary between pairs, so your pair may show more or less flash than the photo.

About Labradorite

Labradorite is a plagioclase feldspar named after Labrador, Canada, where it was described in 1770. Its flashes of color, called labradorescence, come from light reflecting off internal layers. It has a hardness of 6 to 6.5.

Stone Meaning: Labradorite is traditionally associated with intuition and transformation.
